GRNA was incorporated on July 28th 2006, as an Australian registered not for profit organization, in service of the preservation and dissemination of the teachings of Mikao Usui and the Gendai Reiki tradition of Reiki.
Over many months, an enthusiastic group of Gendai Reiki practitioners and masters have met to develop the structure of GRNA, its Vision Core Values, and scope.
As an example of working with Reiki in our lives, this process was in itself a blessing as well as a source of learning. We delved deeply into the inner wisdom of our hearts and guided by the great power of Reiki, found a way to express how GRNA can offer true service to Reiki. The gift of Reiki is that it propels us forward. Indeed with Reiki, we continually recognize that subtle healing and spiritual growth are inextricably related to our lives.
As Reiki grows and becomes more prominent in Australia, we hope that this association and website will be a source and tool for Reiki energy; serving the general public and Reiki practitioners.
